To add a bundle to a Symfony project, you’re required to edit the
app/AppKernel.php
file. However, this is (obviously) also where OroCRM and OroBAP configure their bundles for a project. It’s likely this will create problems for users when upgrading to new versions of OroCRM or the OroBAP framework. Having a simple, second mechanism where users can add their custom OroCRM bundles seems like a good idea. This could be as simple as the following pseudo code
123456789public function registerBundles(){...$bundles is defined...$user_bundles = include 'app/user_bundles.php';$bundles = array_merge($bundle, $user_bundles);return $bundles;}but the specifics are less important than a solution to the general problem of allowing end users to easily upgrade their version of OroBAP or OroCRM without being intimately familiar with the project bundles.
