The RC2 release notes included the following

Package Manager – This is a BAP feature that provides user interface for managing packages – a separate application that allows to view installed packages, check for available packages, install new packages and disable ones that are installed.

Is this a UI exposed feature, or are these command only avaiable via the `app/console` Symfony command?

Also, after reading through `vendor/oro/platform/src/Oro/Bundle/DistributionBundle/README.md` it’s unclear what an “Oro Package” is. Are these just wrappers for the composer installer? Or something else?

Oro Package seems to be a GIT repository with some specific files.

You can see an Oro Package example in this repository :

After all, it’s a good question.

PS: I’m not part of the OroCRM team.
