It’s time for Training Thursday. That means it’s time to catch up on the latest “how to” video tutorials. Check out our 3 new videos and discover how to maximize the power of your OroCRM application. This week, we offer videos discussing how to:

  • Customize grids to display relevant information in way you want it
  • Set up OroCRM to calculate RFM for customer segmentation purposes
  • Add custom fields to records for more complete data

Watch one or watch them all; the videos dive deep into valuable features so workflows can be streamlined while productivity is maximized.

How to Use Grids

Grids are used in OroCRM to display information. You can customize your grids temporarily or permanently to display only the information you need and as well as the order in which data is presented. Grids can even be used for sorting. Customized grid views can be shared with other users as well. This video will teach you how to customize your grids to include the columns you need, the order of the columns, filtering of data, and the order in which data is displayed.

How to Set Up RFM Analysis

RFM analysis is a method of ranking customer value based on when a customer placed their last order (recency), the number of orders in the last year (frequency), and the total value of all orders (monetary). It helps identify your most and least engaged customers. This customer ranking can then be used to target marketing and promotional campaigns for the greatest ROI. In this video, you learn how to define segments for automatic RFM calculation. RFM analysis requires a Magento Integration.

How to Create Custom Fields

OroCRM allows users to easily add fields that weren’t included out-of-the box. This is a powerful function that lets you add the custom fields you need to capture additional marketing and informational data. This video uses the example of adding a Tumblr handle to teach you how to add a custom field and specify how and when it is used and displayed.

We hope these tutorials help you leverage the full power of OroCRM for a complete 360-degree customer view. We pay great attention to our user feedback and requests. If you would like to see a video discussing a specific OroCRM feature, just leave a comment below or post in one of our forums.
